The Communications & Public Policy (CP) team tells the story of Infineon. Our responsibility is to spread the word about what makes Infineon special and shed light on the different ways in which microelectronics make the world more livable. Our stakeholders have different backgrounds and interests, therefore messages are adapted to specific internal and external target groups and the respective channel. The CP team spans all regions and is centrally organized along Corporate Communications, Public Policy, Strategy & CEO Communications and Center of Excellence.

As a Team Assistant Communications, you will be responsible to support the Global Communications Services Team in Porto and the teams in the Headquarters (CP Munich) with a variety of activities.

In this new role you will:

  • Coordinate workshop and meeting schedules, rooms, service providers and participants for the Global Communication Services team and CP teams at headquarters in Munich;
  • Provide on-site organizational support for events (e.g. reception and support for guests, organizational support for catering, reception and service provider management);
  • Handle requests from internal and external contacts, e.g. external partners or other in-house departments;
  • Create and revise presentations, documents and minutes in English;
  • Organize travel planning and accounting for team members' business trips;
  • Support the team's intranet presence;
  • Perform commercial and administrative tasks, such as ordering external and agency services, handling computers and telephones, tool access and administrative onboarding of new team members;
  • Oversee cross-functional issues, such as managing network drive permissions and structures, etc.

You are best equipped for this position if you have:

  • Training as an office communications administrator, industrial assistant or a similar qualification;
  • 1 to 3 years of specialized professional experience as a team or management assistant or comparable practical experience;
  • Strong knowledge of common MS Office tools and new software tools; knowledge of SAP or SharePoint is a plus;
  • Quick comprehension and organizational skills;
  • Excellent communication skills for dealing with internal and external customers as well as in confident interaction between all hierarchical levels, with necessary discretion;
  • An independent, structured and process-oriented working style;
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus.
